Known limitations

Vantage is a public-preview browser, not a drop-in replacement for every Chromium workflow.

• Linux first.The current application targets Linux and Wayland. macOS and Windows builds are not provided.
• Web compatibility follows WebKitGTK.Some sites optimize exclusively for Chromium and may behave differently or reject the browser.
• No extension ecosystem.Chromium and Firefox extensions are not supported.
• No browser account or sync.Bookmarks, history and settings stay local to the machine.
• Compatibility rendering trades performance.The reliable default may be less smooth than accelerated compositing on supported hardware.
• Packaging is still being proven.The installer attempts x86_64 Arch, Omarchy, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and openSUSE. Package names and codec availability can vary by release and configured repositories.

Good bug reports

Include the Vantage commit or version, Linux distribution, WebKitGTK version, whether accelerated rendering was enabled, exact reproduction steps and sanitized terminal output.
